About STAJAC - Abolished
The loss of STAJAC even though it was only a temporary organisation with an expected end of life in 2015 left Scotland with no independent control or regulation of organisations like the SPSO.
The articles show the difficulty in explaining the need to the Scottish Parliament and Scottish Government.

Introduction
The meeting took place in the Parliament building with Huw Williams (Secretary to Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body and Private Secretary to the Presiding Officer), Janice Crerar (Officer holder Services), and Susan Duffy (Head of Committees and Outreach) and Accountability Scotland who were represented by Mr. Peter Stewart-Blacker, Dr. Richard Burton and Professor Walter Humes.

The Convener for and on behalf of Accountability Scotland [Dr John Hinton at the time] with assistance from other members lodged petition (PE01449) to maintain an independent Scottish Administrative Justice Council when the UK AJTC (Administrative Justice & Tribunals Council) is abolished.
